Ms. Assel with some of the Special Olympics swimmers she coaches. She was dressed as a polar bear to "plunge" into the 35 degree water at Mud Island on February 7th. Two hundred and fifty chilly people plunged to raise money for Special Olympics. The teachers at Bodine thinks she's crazy, but they all sponsered Ms. Assel to take the plunge!
