Pink Palace Dedication Ceremony

Richard and Peggy Bodine, founders of The Bodine School and generous supporters of the Pink Palace Museum, were honored by the museum on May 6th with the dedication of a picnic area in their name. The Bodine School was included in the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was moved inside due to inclement weather. The School logo and mission statement will grace the picnic area on a sign commemorating the Bodines commitment to our School. Second grader Chase B. read a dedication to Mr. and Mrs. Bodine, and Middle School Student Ryan H. presented them a beautiful handmade book from the students telling what it means to them to be able to read. Students enjoyed a indoor picnic and tour of the museum after the ceremony.
